Senior Health Economist Permanent

Our client is a leading value healthcare value consultancy that works with a range of deliverables aiding the development and commercialisation within healthcare.

They are looking for an ambitious Senior Health Economist to join their team in Cheshire or London, who is looking to use their scientific and health economic technical hands-on background within a fast-paced environment, offering the opportunity to gain a broader and global commercial insight and application

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical health economics expertise by identifying solutions and defining projects
• Undertake and review modelling activities, including budget impact models and cost-effectiveness models, reports and protocols
• Senior technical lead for assigned projects and technical lead on proposals and client pitches
• Mentor more junior members of staff
• Remain up to date with all aspects of the market access and reimbursement landscape, understanding the perspectives and evidence needs of stakeholders involved in healthcare decision-making

Knowledge, skills and experience

• Post graduate qualification in health economics
• Significant hands on experience of building and interpreting cost-effectiveness economic and budget impact models within industry
• Experience of undertaking systematic reviews and meta-analyses
• A multitasker who can work across many projects
• Excellent analytical and writing skills
• Creative team worker
