Our client is an industry leading digital publisher who are seeking a Science Writer to work across online publications and consultancy content and be based at their offices in Surrey.
You would be involved in creating a variety of long and short copy, including contributing to daily writing news articles and regular features. In addition you would be working on interviews, webinars, email copy and lots more.

Writing daily news articles and weekly features and uploading for website publication
Commissioning articles from an established team of freelancers and other agencies
Delivery of content on-time to support editorial calendar
Attendance at conferences and events
Sub-editing and proofing news and feature articles
Writing and scheduling of daily social media for promotion of website content
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Educated to degree level, preferably with a journalism qualification
Previous experience of science writing in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector
Excellent written English skills
Experience of working with Microsoft Office, and ideally social media platforms, specifically Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google
Attention to detail
Creative with a passion for communicating
