Our client is a global medical communications agency that provides innovative medical communication solutions to the healthcare industry. Due to rapid continued growth, they are seeking a Programme Director to join their team in Cheshire, but will would also consider hybrid or remote candidates based in the UK.
In this role you will be leading and developing client accounts within publications, medical education, and digital projects across a range of therapy areas. You will provide your strategic insight and leadership, mentor your teams, and have the opportunity to be involved in the expansion of the business in assigned accounts and with new clients.

We can only progress applications from candidates with previous experience gained within a medical communications agency who are resident and eligible for work in the UK.
Provide strategic leadership to assigned accounts and oversee the delivery of programmes of work, which could include publications, medical education and digital projects
Lead the active expansion of the business in allocated accounts and be involved with new business opportunities with new clients
Manage and develop direct reports and support wider company staff training and development
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Proven leadership in a medical communications agency environment and experience with the development, mentoring, and coaching of junior colleagues
Strong financial acumen
Extensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, particularly Medical Affairs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
