Our client is a full-service medical communications agency based in Surrey. Business growth leads them Principal Medical Writer to join their award-winning editorial team to create a diverse range of communications materials for both print and digital formats.
The main responsibilities in this role are to research, develop, and review high-quality print and digital pharmaceutical marketing materials designed to meet client objectives for global and domestic accounts focused on different therapy areas. The role is based in the advertising team, but you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of materials including commercial deliverables, publications, meetings, and more.

Responsibilities:
Create and review a broad range of medical communication materials
Act as lead writer and client contact on nominated accounts
Ensure that your own work and that of your team is of high quality and meets the client’s communication objectives
Maintain knowledge in relevant therapy areas and rapidly develop knowledge in new areas
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Life sciences degree
Significant previous medical writing experience gained in a medical communications agency
Ability to mentor more junior members of the team
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Competent in Word, PowerPoint, and reference management software
