Marketing Executive – Generics
A fast growing, award winning healthcare group, is seeking a Marketing Executive to join their team in their Leicestershire offices.
Our client is a niche pharmaceutical company and distributor and you would be assisting their Marketing Director across their range of generic and branded generic drugs. Their campaigns are mainly aimed at primary and secondary care although there may also be opportunities to work on some consumer marketing too.
This is a new role, brought about by the company’s rapid expansion, which will allow lots of development for the successful candidate to build their own team as the business continues to grow. Our client has a large pipeline of unique products (new formulations / dosage) so this is an excellent opportunity for a talented marketeer to be involved in the launch and marketing of emerging products, as well as supporting their established portfolio.

Collaborating with an external agency to manage print and digital marketing campaigns and ensuring compliance with the ABPI Code of Practice.
Review materials and provide copy approval
To research, write and draft communications materials and key messages
To gain an in-depth understanding of company products to be able to provide full agency briefings
Working closely with internal teams, liaising with KOLs and a range of stakeholders and suppliers to ensure the quality and timely delivery of projects
Manage the company’s social media presence, along with developing content for posts
Curate and update the company website
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Marketing, Communications or Life Science Degree
Previous experience gained within a pharmaceutical marketing or healthcare communications environment is required with generics experience especially desirable
ABPI qualified or have a good working knowledge
Good organisational and planning skills
Able to build good relationships with internal and external contacts
