Here’s a chance to work across a range of global promotional accounts providing the lead for brand messaging and ensuring that materials produced are fit for purpose.
You will provide specialist insight into client brands, their markets and customers, support account teams in developing a clear understanding of brand assets, positioning and marketing objectives. Using your understanding of medical science along with your market insight to develop creative and medical copy for a range of promotional materials (including sales aids, press ads, direct mail, brochures, leaflets, emails, websites and a variety of digital applications) to an exceptionally high creative standard. You will also uphold the quality standards for message development and copywriting within the team and support writers to develop their messaging and writing skills.

Collaborate with design partners (designers, creative directors, interactive designers) to develop creative concepts in line with clients’ aspirations and creative briefs
Lead the development of brand messages
Oversee the development of materials across a range of products, brands and subjects for medical clients within agreed timescales
Assist in proactive client development
Work closely with writers to support the development of their writing skills
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Life science degree
Significant previous medical writing experience gained within a medical communications agency
To be able to clearly articulate and present ideas both orally or through the written word, to influence or persuade others of the creative merits of the concepts
Listen well and be able to write clearly in a variety of communication settings and styles
Bring an innovative approach to the brand messaging process
Develop an in-depth understanding of client products, therapy areas, portfolio, commercial strategy
