We’re seeking a Digital Design Lead for an independent healthcare communications agency whose mission is to improve patients’ lives by enhancing the experiences between HCPs and pharmaceutical companies.
They’ve created an agency, specifically for today’s healthcare communications challenges, combining expertise in medical communications, digital marketing, and marketing technologies. They design and deliver the best, most innovative digital solutions for their global, regional and domestic clients.
In this role you will lead the digital design function, ensuring outputs are on time, on brief, and on budget – championing digital design best-practice and look for ways to improve processes. Ultimately, the purpose of the role is to deliver innovative visual digital designs and high-quality tactical assets which exceed client expectations and deliver on campaign objectives.

Lead the digital design team, providing clear direction and feedback on projects and deliverables; brief, guide and shape the work of direct line reports
Oversee the delivery of visual content across multiple digital channels including email, web, social media, and display
Develop insightful and effective digital design ideas that meet the creative brief and client brand guidelines
Ensure digital design standards are upheld across all deliverables
Manage, mentor and support digital design team members to help fulfil their potential
Lead the origination and delivery of conceptual digital design ideas and concepts
Own UX/UI projects from conception to delivery ensuring the consistency and quality of their output
Devise, lead and participate in UX workshops, conducting qualitative and quantitative user research
Produce dynamic and engaging full-motion prototypes
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Design or Multimedia Degree
Proven experience of collaboration with creative, technology, marketing and strategy teams within a healthcare communications agency environment
Confident in using all relevant Adobe suite packages, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, XD and other tools such as Figma to support digital prototyping
Strong leadership and teamwork skills, ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and 3rd party agencies
Inspirational – encouraging big ideas, innovative design approaches and processes. Able to develop all members of the digital design team including setting objectives, personal development plans and completing regular feedback and review sessions
