Account Director / Senior Account Director
Our client is an award-winning, global healthcare communications agency. Due to continued success, they are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Account Director/Senior Account Director to join their team in Surrey. Our client is a fully integrated healthcare communications agency, so many projects undertaken by the advertising and branding division will involve working alongside their Med Ed/PR and OTC business units.
In this role, depending on experience, you will act as the internal agency champion for the client brand and lead on creative and campaign project delivery driving consistency across the team. You will be responsible for leading a team and overseeing the delivery on multiple and often large and complex client projects and budgets. You will be responsible for establishing strong client relationships. In addition to your involvement in strategy, planning, development, and senior-level counsel, you will also play a significant role in business development, where you will be seeking out new opportunities and areas for organic growth whilst also having involvement in developing proposals and leading pitches.

Develop a good understanding of the existing brand strategy and the related creative imperatives on the accounts within your remit
Ensure adherence to brand vision and guidelines to create cohesive, persuasive and brand consistent materials both from a visual and communication perspective
Responsibility for developing, budgeting, managing and finalising client activity programmes, ensuring these are delivered efficiently and satisfy your client’s goals
Manage/support other team members to manage external agencies and freelancers who provide outsourced functions
Oversee and manage account/project profitability
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Life science degree
Significant experience of leading an account team in a healthcare advertising agency environment
The ability to think strategically will be important, as will strong attention to detail
Good interpersonal and written communication skills
Strong presentation and negotiation skills
Confidence, tact and a persuasive manner
The ability to lead and motivate a team
