Our client is seeking a Senor Account Manager for their Healthcare Public Affairs Team based in London with hybrid working.
Working with pharmaceutical, medical technology companies, social enterprise and healthcare charities, they have a proven track record of developing award-winning integrated campaigns. You will oversee the day-to-day management of client accounts with a focus on healthcare and life sciences policy as well contributing to the team’s marketing and new business initiatives.

To be considered for this role you will need to live within a commutable distance of central London and have previous experience in a healthcare public affairs agency or other relevant organisation.
Act at the main point of contact for clients, working with your account leads on strategy and implementation
Developing a good rapport with clients and potential clients, as well as wider external stakeholders
Bringing your knowledge of political and policy developments, in Westminster, the NHS and beyond, to inform tactics in public affairs programmes and campaigns
Managing and mentor more junior members of the team, assisting with their professional and personal development and providing advice and support for their work
Proactively sharing knowledge of healthcare and life sciences policy developments across the company
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Relevant experience in a healthcare public affairs consultancy, in-house pharma public affairs department, patient group/NHS, or healthcare charity
Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of healthcare and life sciences policy and parliamentary procedure
An understanding and insight into the major issues and policy changes affecting the life sciences sector (particularly pricing, NICE and commissioning structures and processes) and the major issues and trends affecting the NHS and healthcare in the UK today
Strong verbal communication skills and an ability to express ideas clearly and credibly in meetings and presentations
Ability to write effectively and persuasively, producing high quality materials.
Ability to project manage, multi-task and manage competing deadlines
Attention to detail and the ability to quickly digest and analyse technical policy papers and Government / NHS announcements
