This is an opportunity to join a leading independent medical communications company with a diverse portfolio of responsibility; candidates with a knowledge/background in oncology or angiogenesis would be of particular interest. This position could be based in London or Manchester.

Purpose:

• You will be developing high-quality content for your clients, efficiently combining their communications needs with writing best practices. With an inspirational approach you will be expected to influence the same commitment to anyone you mentor or manage.
• strategically and with a business focus, add value to existing projects and develop new business
• Research specialised areas of medical science in order to write, edit, and proof-read text for company products as well as work with design and production teams to produce a range of printed and computer-based materials to meet the needs of clients

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• A life sciences degree required, ideally combined with a Master’s degree, PhD
• Publication/writing experience or experience in medical or pharmaceutical field strongly preferred
• Relevant medical information, communications, or marketing writing experience required (agency or pharmaceutical), or an appropriate combination of education and experience

Package:

Great salary and package including pension, healthcare and 25 days holiday per annum.
