Description
Our client is looking for a Programme Manager to be based in their Buckinghamshire office to help drive the business forward in this dynamic, fast moving organisation. An excellent career building opportunity!


Job Purpose:


To manage aspects of defined programmes and projects, to be responsible and accountable for delivery of projects to achieve agreed financial, quality and time targets, ensuring maximum client satisfaction.

  • Member of the project team on nominated accounts
  • Take on account team leader role for allocated projects where appropriate
  • Proactive and productive maintenance of key client / opinion leader relationships
  • Identifying and developing roll-on and new business opportunities
  • Ensure the smooth running and completion of nominated projects

Responsibilities:

  • Input into strategic direction of accounts including programme/project development.
  • Understanding of market issues, client company and project strategic objectives.
  • Review projects for quality assurance and high standards.
  • Provide input and support on proposal development.
  • Identify and develop new and roll-on business opportunities within own accounts.
  • Review key materials to maintain highest quality production, accuracy and creativity.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients / opinion leaders.
  • Provide Programme Directors with regular updates / feedback regarding progress and resourcing of accounts.
  • Input into budgets and schedules prior to submission by Programme Director
  • Be involved in project briefing, planning, scheduling, budgets and resourcing on nominated accounts.
  • Make recommendations for improved implementation of processes and procedures, so as to improve efficiency and profitability of projects.

Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

  • Good commercial awareness and understanding and some experience of financial management
  • Good organisational and written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of all aspects of pharmaceutical marketing
  • Good logistic and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Education / experience required:

  • Degree in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences, marketing or other relevant area.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical Marketing, Branding and Advertising processes and implementation.
  • Experience in international pharmaceutical company/medical education agency.
