This is a great opportunity to join a healthcare marketing communications agency as a writer. You will be writing training materials for a broad audience so this role might suit a medical writer who would like to have more of a creative input into the work that they do.
Key Purpose:
To research, write and edit marketing training materials and programmes for International Healthcare Industry clients
Responsibilities:
Deliver high quality projects which meet client needs:
- Develop and deliver training content across a range of training media, that meets client needs, internal quality standards and timelines
- Edit own work and check content
- Obtain client comments and incorporate as appropriate to obtain final approved copy
- Keep Client Project Director informed of progress with all projects and appraised of potential issues
- Ensure all project management processes are followed on designated projects
- Project manage training projects within the designated Training Account
- Work closely with the Project Co-ordinator and Operations Director to ensure that systems/processes best manage the training projects
- Oversee the work of the designated media and administrative team ensuring that they understand all of their responsibilities
- Take corrective action where necessary throughout the lifecycle of the project
- Where appropriate, manage external providers (e.g. programmers) briefing them fully on details of projects and their timelines and providing feedback on work carried out
- Work in a professional manner with training consultants, clients and external suppliers to aid successful delivery of training projects
- Manage time on individual projects to ensure that they are delivered within the budgeted hours
- Deliver all training projects within the assigned account to agreed financial ratios and in line with the project proposal, contract and specification
Internal Processes:
- Apply knowledge of market, therapeutic areas, strategic pharmaceutical marketing and training needs when interacting with client and internal teams.
- Attend client meetings and follow up all actions
- Prepare Minutes for all client telecons & meetings which you are leading
- Keep client informed about all projects, managing all issues proactively
- Report regularly on project progress to the Client Project Director at a frequency and in a format agreed and maintain complete project files
- Develop and/or update project content to ensure that learning objectives are achieved and skills transfer to delegates is delivered, in line with client business needs
Professional Development:
- Develop and maintain awareness and understanding of the clients market, product profile, trends and skills gaps
- Keep up to date on training techniques and media capabilities to ensure projects deliver leading edge solutions
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
- Life Science Degree
