Our client, an award-winning International Medical Communications Agency, has a fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager to join their London based team.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for tactical delivery of specific programme elements on assigned accounts
• Work under instruction and guidance from Account Director and/or senior management; actively seek the involvement and guidance on appropriate tasks
• Have direct liaison with clients on specific projects; take responsibility for ensuring clients are aware of any changes or developments on an ongoing basis
• Manage the delivery of projects on time and on budget and monitors project budgets on an ongoing basis to ensure profitability
• Undertake management responsibilities for junior members of the team
• Routinely monitor team on all professional accountabilities
• Actively manage constructive feedback and personal development (including reviews and SMART objectives) for junior team members
• Brief account executives on tasks associated with projects whilst retaining overall responsibility for project delivery
• Oversee the day/workload to ensure timely delivery of projects
• Responsible for the financial management of accounts (with administrative support from junior team members where appropriate)
• Develop and track budgets
• Invoicing
• Financial reporting
• Monitoring profitability

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

• Life science degree
• Disease areas related to accounts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Account budgeting
• New business development
• Solid account management skills
