Our client, a London based medical communications agency, has a requirement for a Business Development Manager to join their growing team.
Role Activities:
- Attain new business clients for - show self-origination in business development and generally show creativity and leadership in winning these accounts
- To be prepared to support non-self originated new business efforts
- To be able and prepared to 'platform' new won business accounts by exhibiting account management capability and working with colleagues to achieve account integration
- To co-ordinate development of company promotional activities and business intelligence e.g. Website, Brochure, contact database, credentials and service offerings, trade journals and mailing activities etc.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Agency/consultancy background with, ideally, industry experience or equivalent
- Proven business development aptitude
- Core knowledge of medical education but PR and advertising skills an advantage
- Balanced scientific and commercial outlook
- Creative, problem solving/need oriented thinker
- Scientifically qualified
- Network oriented and team player, supportive but focused on target activities
- Mature, determined and diplomatic
- Excellent verbal, presentational and written skills
- Highly computer literate
