Our client, a medical communications and PR agency, has a requirement for an account manager / senior account manager to join their medical education division and be based in their London office.
Job Purpose:
- To facilitate the efficient delivery of the combined components of agency outputs
- To be an effective and positive facilitator between all agency functions and the client in terms of progress and process
- To provide support for strategic/brand/client issues
Responsibilities:
Client Management:
- Planning and coordination of agency/client relationships and communication
- Attending client meetings to discuss project planning, initiation, development and finalisation
- Close liaison with the client over all non-content issues (budgets, schedules, progress etc)
- Provision of contact reports/client meeting summaries and appropriate follow up
- Support for other members of the team with overview of individual accounts
- Support for other members of the team in KOL communications (non-content, non-logistical)
- Development of new business opportunities within current clients
Account Management:
- Close liaison with project managers, event managers, finance over non-content issues of accounts
- Oversight of tracker system for appropriate accounts
- Construction of budgets in collaboration with Project Managers, Events Managers, Partners, Finance
- Ensure original budget assumptions are correct, or update budgets in coordination with Project Management/Events where change occurs
- Communicate budget changes to client
- Construction of schedules in collaboration with Project Managers, Events Managers, Partners, Finance
- Ensure original schedule assumptions are correct, or update schedules in coordination with Project Management/Events where change occurs
- Communicate schedule changes to client
- Keep up-to-date with data, and developments in the relevant field.
Team Management:
- Ensure that all members of the team are kept informed of any material change to the project in terms of specification, budget and schedule
- Proactively build the agency/client relationship
