Our client, an international communications agency, has an opportunity for an Account Manager/Senior Account Manager to work on their global, European and UK medical education accounts.

The Role:

• Drive the day-to-day management of international and UK medical education programmes for their pharmaceutical clients, including project planning, managing timelines and working directly with clients and key opinion leaders
• Work effectively as a team player, motivating, delegating to and empowering individuals from teams across the company (junior account handlers, finance, writers, creative, advertising, etc)
• Have a good understanding of their clients’ commercial and communication needs and ensure that your projects and programmes meet these needs
• Working with your team leader and the finance team, take responsibility for the financial aspects of your projects
• Contribute to the development of new business from both current and new clients

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Account management or project management
• Client or customer service
• Strong understanding of life science and/or the pharmaceutical industry
• Education to degree level or higher
• Planning, driving and delivering projects
• A strong team player who can involve, inspire and motivate others
• An engaging communicator, written and verbally
• Integrity, enthusiasm and drive
