The Team:

The team includes medical education experts and a team of highly qualified technical writers as well as a PR team who deliver international communications programmes with a medical edge. This means that teams work in a highly integrated way with clients and with each other; in this way, the company can build highly specific teams suited to the requirements of each client. Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• A good BSc (Hons) in a life science; preferably a higher
• Experienced in managing top 20 pharmaceutical company accounts (preferably at a global level)
• International medical communications experience – operational and previous exposure to strategic thinking
• Able to draw on personal experience and expertise
• Outstanding client handling skills
• Clear understanding of medical education programme elements
• Experience in working with team of technical medical writers
• Highly organised with attention to planning and detail
• A demonstrable talent for account handling
• Proven team working skills
• Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Able to work in a matrix management structure
• Experience of financial management – budgeting and forecasting on accounts
• Experience of supporting business development at new business pitches
• Able to bring ideas and opportunities for new business prospects
• A confident and effective communicator
• Focused on team and individual objectives
• Agency/pharma/publications/service sector experience or equivalent
• An in-depth understanding of medical communications
• The company works in most major therapy areas, but cardiovascular and oncology experience is particularly sought
