This renowned all round Medical Communications agency have a wonderful opening for an Account Director to work alongside their already skilled and reputable team.

Working with a team of exemplary project leaders you will review all projects for scientific accuracy, therapeutic relevance and key marketing messages in conjunction with medical writers.  You will ensure all projects for quality assurance and high in conjunction with project editors.

 Responsibilities:

• Provide the lead strategic medical/marketing direction and input to defined projects and project teams.
• Responsible and accountable for delivery of projects to agreed financial, quality and timely targets.
• Identify and develop new as well as roll on business opportunities.
• Responsible and accountable for delivery of projects to agreed financial, quality and timely targets.
• Part of the Client Services Unit responsible for leading/managing specific projects.
• To direct project teams on all aspects of project briefing, planning, scheduling, budgets and resourcing.
• Foster the development of other members in the project teams.
• Coach and Mentor project team members.

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Undisputed ability to work independently on all aspects of Pharmaceutical Marketing.
• Understanding of Branding and Advertising processes and implementation would be an advantage.
• Previous experience of operating in senior account/project management role would be an advantage.
• Experience of all aspects of financial project management or the ability to demonstrate a full understanding of these processes.
• Degree in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences, marketing or other relevant area. 
• Experience from pharmaceutical industry/agency environment, preferably in the international arena.
