Our client is an international medical communications agency with offices on three continents. They have a need for a strategic account director to join and lead their team on one of their largest accounts.

This global account is in the cardiovascular therapy area and the requirement is for a strategic thinker to work hand in hand with the client on a variety of internal communications and meetings based projects.

You will be leading a talented and motivated team with direct reports at the SAM level and below. As well as being the main point of contact for the client you will be expected to develop your team, building upon an expert knowledge base.

This position is full time and office based in London, although there will be a requirement for some international travel. This is a great opportunity to take up a high profile role within a very successful agency.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Life science degree, preferably higher degree.
• Ideally experience in a medical communications agency, pharmaceutical marketing or equivalent environment.
• Experience of delivering and developing strategic communications programmes/projects
• Experience of managing and mentoring a team
• Ability to build rapport with clients and KOLs.
