Our client is the healthcare practice of a leading PR Agency. They work on Pharma, OTC and Consumer accounts and have an opportunity for a public affairs account manager to join their team and be based in Cambridgeshire.

Purpose:

To take a lead managing role in the accounts for household name healthcare accounts

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day strategic account management
• Client liaison
• Building relationships with key media
• Liaison with opinion formers/parliamentarians
• Press release and article writing
• Proposal preparation
• Report and speech writing
• Providing briefing material for clients
• Event organisation and management
• Budget management

Knowledge, Skill and Experience:

• Solid experience in healthcare PR/public affairs at the relevant level is a necessity
• You’ll already be a well-networked PR professional with an impressive contacts book and a string of achievements
• In this role, you’ll deal with opinion formers on a daily basis, building strong and lasting professional relationships with them
• You will manage own areas of responsibility, often working independently, reporting to a senior account directorA strong writer, perhaps with journalistic experience
