Our client, a leading full service medical communications agency, has an opportunity for a public relations account manager to join their London based team.

The Company:

This is one of the world’s leading communications agencies. They have a great reputation and a stellar client list. They provide critical insight on communications strategies, competitive issues and market trends for clients of all sizes and a variety of vertical markets.

The Role:

To work on a mix of existing and new accounts, leading junior members of the team and working with practice management on new business initiatives. This crucial role will support the agency’s award winning campaigns in the areas of HIV, Gastroenterology, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Oncology and Cardio-Vascular treatments. You will join a talented group of professionals working on UK, pan European and global accounts. The team works closely with the company’s network of offices across the world, in particular with the US and Europe. Accounts are predominantly ethical healthcare accounts although they do work on consumer-health and corporate reputation as well.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

• Life Science Degree
• Agency experience in ethical, pharmaceutical, product PR or diagnostics or equivalent knowledge.
• Strong client servicing/presentation skills
• Account budgeting
• New business development
• Solid account management skills
• Ability to deliver from day one
• Good editorial skills
