Our client is one of the world’s leading medical communications agencies.  This full service agency has an opportunity for an Account Director to join the Public Relations division and be based in their central London office.

The Role:

To work on a mix of existing and new accounts, leading junior members of the team and working with practice management on new business initiatives. This crucial role will support the agency’s award winning campaigns in the areas of HIV, Gastroenterology, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Oncology and Cardio-Vascular treatments. You will be the main senior day to day contact for clients and should be comfortable with providing strategic counsel and leading new business opportunities.

You will be working with a diverse group of professionals working on UK, pan European and global accounts. The team works closely with the company’s network of offices across the world, in particular with the US and Europe. Accounts are predominantly ethical healthcare accounts as well as consumer-health.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

• Life Science Degree
• Strong client servicing/presentation skills
• Account budgeting
• New business development
• Solid account management skills
• Strong writing - core programme materials
• People management skills
• You will have ideally, agency experience in ethical, pharmaceutical, product PR or diagnostics or equivalent knowledge.
