My client is one of London’s leading creative agencies. They are looking for a highly enthusiastic, motivated individual to join their account handling team. Working solely on the POM side of the business this person must be able to demonstrate their passion for science/the pharmaceutical industry. The right person will develop and progress rapidly within one of the UK’s leading healthcare advertising Agencies, at this exciting time.
Purpose:
To manage the co-ordination and administration of designated client accounts, under the direction of an Account Director
Dimension:
The Senior Account Executive reports directly to the Account Director. This role works closely with other members of the account handling and creative teams
Nature/scope:
- To have an overall understanding of designated Client accounts, and to understand the needs and requirements of each project
- To be one of the key points of Client contact on day-to-day administrative and logistical issues on designated accounts
- To track schedules and ensure that all Client needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
- To manage administration on individual projects, to include: contact reports, schedules, status reports, budget reports and invoicing
- To manage the trafficking of material between internal departments, including copy and artwork and job bags
- Attendance at appropriate Client meetings as required
Core competencies and skills:
- Good interpersonal skills for contact with Clients, internal departments and suppliers
- Overall understanding of designated Client accounts, in order to provide accurate financial and project status reports and invoicing
- An appreciation of artwork, production editing, and house style, and an understanding of the print process
- Good understanding of internal processes and systems
- Impeccable administration / organisation skills
- To be able to take and supply briefs
- Good organisational and administrative skills
- Team work, flexibility and a positive mental attitude
- Time management, including prioritisation
- Good PC skills- Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Principal Accountabilities:
- To communicate project status to Client, team, and other colleagues
- To ensure the administration and co-ordination of designated account/s runs smoothly and to deadline
- To produce accurate and high quality work to deadline
- To contribute towards account activity and development
- To contribute to the overall objectives of Account Teams
Qualifications and experience:
- Life science degree preferred, with 2 years relevant experience preferably in an Agency or industry environment
- Basic understanding and a passion for working within the pharmaceutical industry
