Purpose:
- To be an active team member on client accounts assigned to you
- To manage your time effectively and delegate work to team members appropriately
- To meet all set deadlines for both the team and the client
- To manage the profitability of accounts by tracking hours spent versus agreed budget
- To be diligent in your duties, mindful of confidentiality
Accountabilities:
- On-going management of client accounts
- Evaluation of client programmes
- Ensure programme evaluation targets are set and implemented
- Liaison with opinion leaders
- Written media materials and proactive media contact
- Research for clients and new business pitches
developing proposals for prospective and existing clients
- Identification of opportunities to grow existing business
- On-going client liaison and consulting
setting up and managing client meetings and internal updates
- Overseeing written meeting reports
media placements and overseeing media monitoring
- Event organisation, including budget management (press conferences etc)
- Budget management
- Client administration
- Team development and training (where appropriate), including identification of account executives’ training needs
Qualifications:
- Science or PR degree preferred but not essential
UK Ethical Healthcare PR experience essential
- Good communication skills (including presentation skills)
- Strong client consultation skills
- Excellent medical and consumer media contacts
- Strong track record of working with patient groups and KOLs
- People management and development
- Numerate
- Team player
