| Description | An international medical communications agency has a requirement for a Business Development Director. Description: Individual will be responsible for leading and directing the sales initiative for the company with International Divisions of Pharmaceutical companies. Duties include assisting in the specification of projects and overseeing the initial delivery where appropriate, working closely with teams throughout the company and dovetailing with new business approaches; developing an awareness of the company within new target client companies, focusing on international marketing groups and business opportunities; developing and delivering budgets and proposals. Flexibility to travel internationally is required. Qualifications: Candidate must have several years experience of sales and marketing experience within the healthcare environment as well as proven track record with healthcare education/communication industry. Must have thorough understanding of what it takes to deliver medical education programs in order to support project management and delivery teams. Excellent and proven track record of leading and developing teams, strong financial management skills are required, as are excellent verbal, written and presentation skills and a strong drive to succeed. |
