Description
Our client is an international medical communications agency. Due to continued growth and success they have a requirement for a project leader to join their team in Cheshire.
Skills and Requirements:
Essential:
- Excellent project management skills
- Broad experience of different medical communication project types, including publications and/ or meetings
- Experience as lead on medical communication projects
- Excellent communication skills and experience with client/author/speaker liaison
- Experience of tracking projects and negotiating with clients
- Good commercial understanding
- Clear demonstration of problem-solving ability
- Experience of identifying opportunities for business growth and participating in business development activities
- Experience in providing costings for new projects
- Reviewing experience
- Understanding and application of ABPI/EFPIA/publication codes of practice
Desirable:
- Neurology therapy area experience AND/OR
- Oncology therapy area experience
- People and resource management
- Ability to coach and mentor junior staff
Qualifications:
- Life Science degree, preferably higher science degree
- Previous experience in editorial or project/account management position in a medical communications agency or equivalent
